acting white

A term used to describe the lax attitude white folk tend to put forth in uncomfortable and awkward social settings. Usually the settings will involve former lovers, spouses, but everyone will try really hard to be positively sugary nice to each other to be polite and overly-friendly.

"Can you believe my ex asked me if I'd like to have dinner with her and her new husband?"

"Damn dude, that's acting white, does she think you're gonna start acting white too?"

"she's definitely acting white..."

term used to describe something which false, fraudulent or not truly disclosed in some way.

slapped cheek disease

a mild rash illness that occurs most commonly in children. The ill child typically has a "slapped-cheek" rash on the face and a lacy red rash on the trunk and limbs. Occasionally, the rash may itch. An ill child may have a low-grade fever, malaise, or a "cold" a few days before the rash breaks out. The child is usually not very ill, and the rash resolves in 7 to 10 days.

Although we would expect slapped cheek disease to come from chronic incidence of being a jerk, it is actually caused by the human parvovirus 19.

crypt orchid

the scientific terms used to describe the physical condition of a male born without having had his testicles descend into the scrotum and therefore his scrotum is empty and his testicles are in the trunk of the body. This male may get prosthetic testicles for his sac or be doomed to a life of flapping scrotum skin in the wind.

also commonly referred to as "Cow Poly Pomona" is one kick-ass university. Not only does it boast real vegetation and real education, it is also quite fun for women to attend since the ratio is totally in their favor.

People everywhere wondered where a former lingerie model would have learned about quantum mechanics or higher level mathematics, but once they knew she'd gone to Cal Poly Pomona, it was no longer a mystery.
