The Dodo Is Alive!

When some Trumpists-turned-QAnonists still stranded on the volcanic island of Mauritius—who needed to concoct a half-believe story to gain public attention so that they could fly back home—told the locals that they spotted a big bird that resembled the flightless dodo in the middle of the night, when the country was still on lockdown, thus raising the infinitesimal hope that the Mauritian bird, thought extinct, is far from dead.

That “the dodo is alive!” sounds like a modern version of the biblical story of Jesus’ raising Lazarus, who had already been in the tomb for four days, from the dead—even if the big bird is long dead, who says that it can’t miraculously be resurrected?

Trumpific

A word that notoriously or terrifically describes the manifold lies and white lies uttered or tweeted by Donald J. Trump during his four years as a head of state, which is beyond human dishonesty to say the least.

Don’s performance while in office has been so trumpific to the extent that any future inept or corrupt president would be hard-pressed to match his ever-low unethical index.

Use Your Bible and Your Brain

The advice preached by some fringe American pastors to their congregations with regard to mask wearing and vaccination, who claim that Covid-19 is a “fake pandemic” and that they themselves would not take a vaccine—and that Donald J. Trump won the 2020 presidential election by a landslide, who would be re-elected as the President of the United States, be it in 2020, 2024, 2028, or even later (after serving his reduced jail sentence, commuted by the President of the day).

A conservative pastor from Tennessee, who is probably scientifically challenged, told his faithful uncritical church members: “Don’t trust the fake media, but use your Bible and your brain to decide whether you want to wear a mask or get vaccinated.”

Singapore 4 Trump

When tax fugitives and corrupt entrepreneurs in Singapore want to ostentatiously donate millions to Trump’s post-election fund to help him fight against “fraudulent ballots”—which prevented him from being re-elected in the 2020 presidential election—in the hope that come 2024, when he ran again and won bigly, he would grant them tax concessions as a quid pro quo.

Ironically, most members of Singapore 4 Trump are filthy rich permanent citizens and naturalized citizens from mainland China and India, and millionaires and billionaires who had fled the US and the EU to settle in tax-heaven Singapore, who bet that having Trump as the re-elected president in 2024 or 2028 would be an auspicious year for their businesses.

Christmask

When tens of thousands of children in developing countries are asking Santa Claus for face masks rather than toys to protect themselves and their parents (and also their teachers, doctors, nurses, and frontline workers) from the coronavirus.

Since both her parents lost their jobs due to Covid-19, Mary’s wish this Christmas is for Father Claus to deliver at least one box of Christmasks for her and her two younger siblings, who have been told to reuse their masks as often as possible to save money.

When petrified oft-morally corrupt GOP members show their blind or one-way street loyalty to Donald J. Trump lest his base supporters might dump them at the next election.

A few trumpnotized governors and mayors felt betrayed by their president, who vindictively and viciously lashed out at them for refusing to break the law in overturning the election results that declared victory to his opponent.
