A sort of irony where someone challenges an idea that is already correct. When succeeded, leaves the bearer of the idea to feel incorrect, even though they are correct.

Scientist: “Water is important, everyone knows this.”
Challenger: “Water sucks!”
Scientist: “Ugh you’re probably right. Your sabottical irony worked on me..”
