Popular Idiom refering to going into something that one cannot forego, although they know the effects will be disasterous.


The term comes from prison shower buggery where he who picks up the soap expects to be raped when he bends over.

Hitler knew he was passing the soap when he declared war on the soviet union, takign WWII to two fronts.
