Because my father often put me down as a child, really hurting me with comments, I never forgot, I guess later in life I watched out for partners, crushes who had similar traits. Who either ignored me, made fun of me or told me really nasty shit. Maybe it felt homely, familiar but wrong nevertheless. I didnt understand it until recently. Self worth does not exclusively but partially maybe mainly stem from your upbringing. Sometimes its your job to rebuild it. 🖤

some may find this very difficult.
look into somebodys eyes and speak from the heart. feel connected not because your choice of words is masterful but the universal meaning they convey transcends all boundaries - nationality, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender - within humanity.
