Self-regulation

The presupposition of the act is that you are capable of self-regulation so this doesn't need to happen to you but I am incapable of self-regulation (in a way that you are not) and so your surveillance of me is not only justified but necessary. You are not qualified to make that assessment. Nor do you have the authority. You will do the thing I want you to do or I will do a thing I don't want to do in direct response to the act. It's the only choice you've left me. Hurry it up. I haven't got all morning."

He's creating the problem that is effecting him and then crying about the results. Which I think is why you have to much sympathy for him. Because you all do the same thing. Backlash 

See how you couldn't even handle the backlash of saying shit people didn't like for 15 minutes? See how you had to eject yourself from the platform? Imagine that but for 15 years and only in Orwellian doublespeak and in person. At least you had an opportunity to respond. As you can see, I have to be a little more creative. See how that works?

That right there is the problem. Guy 2 is a renowned author from the UK. Guy 1 is just some guy who has likely never even heard of Guy 2. Guy 3 (Me) said a very specific sentence to Guy 1. A sentence that Guy 3 HAS NEVER HEARD ANYONE ELSE SAY BEFORE. Repeated back to him by Guy 2 several weeks later.
