Complexity
People are looking for easy moral virtue. It’s easy to be virtuous by having a messy life and saving the planet and it’s simplest to save the planet by concentrating on one thing and it’s simplest to concentrate on the woke left as if that’s the only challenge that confronts us. So, you have this overweening, prideful, and ignorant requirement to put yourself forward as some sort of prophet, reduce the complexity of the problem to opposing the woke left and then if you can get rich as an additional benefit to you own envy, so much the better.
