MY issue with it is that they clearly FRAME leftist talking points as self-evidently good or inarguably correct and right-wing talking points as antagonistic. The left has presuppositions like "gender is divorced from sex and is on a spectrum" that are reinforced by Hollywood in the same way that the catholic presuppositions are reinforced. Which is a good point. Take Supergirl season 4 (I think) the villain is charlie kirk. It's a framing thing. I mean... You know you'd call it "whitewashing" if it was African folklore but instead it's danish folklore and was done intentionally to hoist white people by their own petard AND they explicitly stated that it was being done for that reason. But... Yeah, that's a good point about the production ebd of things. I hadn't considered that.
