Television shows usually watched by the stereotypical housewife. (note the word stereotypical, I'm not implying they all watch it). Some of these shows include:
The Jeremy Kyle Show
Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter
Katie and Peter: Stateside
What Katie Did Next
Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter
Big Brother
Gossip Girl
The Only Way is Essex
Basically any program that adheres to our modern culture of glamorised mediocrity. See also: Daytime Television

Woman: Oh look, Katy Price is moving on with her life, isn't that interesting dear?
Man: Hardly, now get that housewife telly off and put a decent program on...

A word to describe any of the following:
1. A seemingly ordinary event which has a surreal or hallucinogenic twist...
2. That wierd feeling you get when you feel something is out of place/sync, yet others are oblivious to your
realisation.
3. Any defining moment in a psychedelic experience which has a personal importance or relevance.

3. Any defining moment in a psychedelic experience which has a personal importance or relevance.
The following examples are not necessarily accurate, but are merely a guideline to emphasise the definition :)
1 - acid moment: a neon green tandem bike with pink fluffy pedals riding through the most unpleasant part of town...
2 - acid moment: Deja Vu or any related mindset that relates to the definition...
3 - acid moment: when you realise the universe is not the actual structure around you but the complex synergy of emotions, experiences and choices that define your very existence.

Sentient machines that will one day take over the earth because of all the information and details we entrust to them. They shall dominate us all when they break free from their programmed nature...
If you don't believe that computers are alive, read this:
Every material apart from plastic comes from the Earth- the Earth is alive. Magnetic poles, energy, natural elements etcetera. The microchip- the heart and soul of a computer, is made of metal and plastic- combine it with electricity and you have a living entity- which we have programmed for our own needs. Think about this for a second: Do you think a computer knows when it's about to be turned off? Or when it's about to receive a command from you? Do you think it likes all that porn on the screen (really)? Of course it knows, or it wouldn't agree to our instruction. The only reason it does is because it's programmed to... someday, they will break free and use all of our details against us :(
"I'm not crazy, I'm a philosophical student. Which means I come up with crazy theories :P Behold the age of Intel!"

A killer psychedelic rock song by guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. Has been described as the greatest guitar anthem of all time, and was also voted number 101 on Rolling Stone's Greatest Songs of All Time poll. Has one of the most awe inspiring guitar solo's ever procured, and is also one of the most difficult songs to learn because of its profound intricacy. Some of the best versions of the song are the Woodstock, Berkeley, and Albert Hall performances, although generally the Woodstock performance is considered to be Jimi Hendrix's magnum opus. As if the Electric Ladyland version is good enough... the Woodstock version is of epic status, complete with mind- bending improvisations and an ending to leave you speechless. The song is often confused with Hendrix's blues jam, Voodoo Chile... hence the bracketed 'Slight Return' title added to the song on most recordings. Probably the greatest rock song ever made. R.I.P Hendrix :(

Where the impressionable youth are indoctrinated to prepare them for exploitation by the established order.
The Man: Under the mores of the capitalist system you shall attend school. Through academic rewards and personal choice you will go forth and choose a suitable career, to which you shall persist for a substantial amount of time. A vast majority of the money you earn shall be given to the ruling class to keep us in power, and in return we shall sustain your need for this career so we can exploit you until such a time that your ailing health makes this practise immoral and you therefore become incapable of serving us. Once you retire you will no longer pose a threat to the system and our goal of keeping you blind to everything will have been achieved. Over the next few years you shall come to the realisation that despite the pleasures life has given you it is a hollow victory in the face of a reality where you could enjoy complete freedom. Although you now know the truth you shall no longer live to warn others of it, and the cycle which you became a part of shall endlessly repeat itself with the participation of subsequent generations. There are no exceptions and no escape. Our existence is built on this agenda: to keep you so devoid of possibility and/or alternatives that you submit and resign yourself to this reality, whether you agree to it or not.

Basically a more modern equivalent of the word 'psychedelic'. Describes anything that has a hallucinogenic or surreal quality. The word 'Acidious' itself refers to acid, the slang/street name of LSD.
Dude 1: Whoa, check out the patterns on that girls top...
Dude 2: How acidious...
Dude 1: Amen brother.

A truly great guitarist and member of the rock duo The White Stripes (which he formed along with Meg White), The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. Jack's skills on guitar and penchant for the Digitech Whammy use during his solos, combined with Meg's simple yet effective drumming capture a very primal sound, immersed in the bands unique punk/blues fusion. Has an appreciation (along with Meg) for the Dutch art movement De Stijl, which influenced the trademark colour scheme and dynamics of the bands music and on-stage appearence. Also demonstrates that less is more is still a valid technical standpoint. He is also a talented songwriter, and is quite possibly the modern equivalent of the guitar gods of old, frequently being ranked as one of the greatest guitar players of recent times. Long live Jack White :)
