sociology

Study in society, that possibly can be best used in the corrections system.

I am a soc. major and I am focusing on the prison system and more specifically drug offenders. I believe treatment whould be the first option seeing as it is less espensive than the prison system and has shown to be more effective because of less repeat offenders.

gerentology

The study of aging and the aged. divides groups up into young aged (65-75) middle aged (75-85) and elder aged (85+).

A variety of topics are focused on, including living conditions, mental ans physical health (everyday tasks being performe). And even sexuallity (for reference watch "Sitll Doing It:The Intimate Lives of Women Over 65"). And a side note, although much of the elder population thinks they suffer from alzheimer's disease only about 3-5% do. Your long term memory actuallcy increases as you get older, it is you short term memory that decreases.

folkstyle

In regards to wrestling, it is the type of wrestling mostly done in young child levels through college. The winner either is the person who either pins the opponent(gets the person on their back with their shoulder blades touching the mat for around 2-4 seconds). Or has the most points at the end of the match through take-downs, reversals, excapes, and back points.

There is some international competition for it, although freestyle and grecco are more popular throughout the world and these are the two styles that are in the olypmpics.

oklahoma

A state that is actually not as bad as people think. Tulsa and OKC are a good size for a city with being too big like houston. The only thing country about most of the peopleis the attitude, and that is regarding to being friendly and waving to people(although as with everywhere some people are just dicks). Also the home state of the flaming lips.
