Grown-Up Privilege

A belief that adults can do and say whatever they want without social backlash or being reprimanded by others for their actions.

When you're a kid, most adults will use their Grown-Up Privilege by making you apologize for swearing, making sex jokes, and for choosing to not play with toys.

Swearing

Something adults say all the time, but all hell breaks loose when kids do it. An example of acceptable hypocrisy.

Adult: Hey guys, this is fucking good!
Kid: Yeah I love it, this is the shit!

Adult: Language kid!!!
Kid: But you guys swear all the time. For fucks sake Swearing is not the end of the world!

Swear Pass

The weird social phenomenon of adults giving special permission to non-adults (children or teens) to use swear words without social backlash.

Kid: Hey wassup bitches!
Adult: Watch your language kid!
Kid: I have a swear pass.
Adult: Dammit! Blew my chance.
