a) adj: a combination of vain, arrogant and megalomaniacal characteristics in the same person
b) adj: (architecture): grand, imposing and awe-inspiring¸ in size, nature and architectural style
supposing that the Palace of Versailles was originally designed to be Versallian, definition b), one can also assume that king Louis XIV, who ordered the construction of said palace, was Versallian, definition a).
