A pneumonic device in AP style for remembering words that receive commas just before them when conjoining two independent clauses. (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)

This is an independent clause, but this is also an independent clause.

mudslide

A mudslide is when your close friend or grandmother reclines on the floor with plastic wrap over their face and you squeeze off a poop onto the plastic wrap. The poop slides off your grandmothers face just like mud off a hill.

Derrick paid me 20 bucks to give her a mudslide last weekend.
