GISS

An acronym for "general impression, size, and shape". Used by birders to describe the appearance of a bird when specific field marks can't be seen. Describes the "vibe" that a bird gives off. Pronounced like "jizz"

That bird is so far away that I can barely see it, but the flight style and GISS seems right for a Parasitic Jaeger.
