ya get me?

A recently surfaced slang term, popularized by Big Brother UK contestant Science in 2005, roughly translated to "Do you understand what I'm saying to you?".
Science: Power to da people, ya get me?!

D'ya Get Me?

Multi use sentence finisher that can be tacked onto any sentence that may be regarded as euphemistic or, more so, a double entendre.

**Note** Should be said in a deeper gruffer voice than the original sentence is said.
Is your sister going to be in tonight? I was over yesterday and I heard she came when I wasn't there... D'ya get me?

We're going bird watching this weekend. It's going to be hot and I hope to see a lot of gorgeous tits... D'ya get me?

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
