verb. (wĭsh′kŏt) A portmanteau of the words "wish" and "boycott." An aspirational boycott, or a longing or desire to abstain from using, buying, or dealing with an entity to inflict some economic loss on the target to try to compel the target to alter an objectionable behavior.
