An aged 1960s-1970s radical hippie who is now teaching radical hippie beliefs to young, wannabe radical hipsters at a university or college. Has sported a ponytail since their own college years which has now turned white with age. Usually male, but can be female. Also known as a 'gray ponytail'.
"My 'white ponytail' Environmental Studies professor made us do an essay on the significance of the first Earth Day because he remembers celebrating it by smoking a joint and planting a tree!"
