vanilla down

The equivalent of "watered down," only used in reference to ice cream.

"Hey man, is that moose tracks any good?"
"Nah, they really vanillaed it down."
or
"Dude, my ice cream looks nothing like it does on the box!"
"Yeah man, they always vanilla down that shit."
