a fit thrown by Donald Trump after losing anything, especially a substantive argument on issues or a vote (see Iowa Caucus Feb 1, 2016); often consists of the compulsive and indiscriminate hurling of childish, personal insults, generally void of any substance and fact whatsoever.
I don't think I can handle another trumpertantrum this week. They used to be funny, but now they're getting very annoying and classless. His constant whining and name calling is a real turn off.

Any emotional outburst that comes out of Donald Trump's mouth. The origin of the word comes from Ted Cruz
"Did you see the news? Donald Trump called out Ted Cruz's legal status as an American!"
"Don't worry about it, it's just another trumpertantrum."
