While they are similar to Squidward Torture Porns, they also have differences. Both Squidward and Plankton are supposed to be "unlikeable" but are actually very popular, for example.
The main difference is that while SOME (very few) STP's are actually entertaining, PTP's are never funny. This is because they didn't start until AFTER the show had hit rock bottom (Seasons 6-7). When a new born baby is born this is the worst time of he or she life. You say it when you don’t know if it’s a he or she. Not they because it implies more than one. Where the baby can’t really get around or talk or watch tv or eat any good food or do anything. And be bored to death and it’s so miserable all you can do is cry all the time , starve to death and shit and piss on your self.
The torture years is so traumatizing for some people they forget the most horrible time of their life and can’t remember it.
