TechCarthyism

A movement using mainstream tech-platforms like Twitter and YouTube to socially engineer thought-level compliance to a radical political agenda through Star Chambers (e.g. “Trust and Safety”), shadow bans, show-trials (court of public opinion), de-platforming, and uneven enforcement of Terms of Service. The term was coined by Eric Weinstein.
Sam Harris just canceled his Patreon account in protest against the rising tide of TechCarthyism.
