A device used to stretch piercings. It is small on one end and gradually increases in size until it reaches the proper gauge.

When going from a 4G to a 2G, I used an acrylic taper and some lubricating oil.

Well, all athletes really...

It's working out really hard for a few days and then doing barely anything in a short amount of time. (usually right before a big game or meet)

When we were tapering, we only did 2500 instead of 7000 =)
