To be susceptible to something is the likelihood of being influenced or affected by it.
We refuse to be susceptible to the propaganda on television. We all know how the government is controlling our thoughts with the subliminal messages strategically placed into ads. The average person is susceptible but we are not.

He has great hearing, but is susceptible to believing the voices in his head.
