Fear of getting to know a previously unknown aspect of something which you likely would have rather learned on your own.
*discussions of art media such as video games, movies, etc. especially vulnerable.

#1"Have you seen the last episode of The Walking Dead? Wanna know who dies?"

"Please, don't tell me a thing! I will be really mad with you if you do."

"Geez, do you suffer of spoilerophobia or somethin'?"

#2"Have you heard about the new movie?"

"NO, don't tell me anything! I don't even want to know the name of the movie or who is in it."

"Wow, you suffer from a severe case of spoilerophobia"

Having a fear of getting a movie or a show a video game spoiled by someone.

Joseph screamed at me when I was gonna talk about the movie he didn't watch yet. He has a spoilophobia.
