Social glue

(n.) A person that has multiple friends that don’t interact with eachother unless they happen to hang out together with that one person.
Ashley: Henning asked if you wanted to hang out with us after the lectures?
Tian: Sure. It is just the three of us or did he invite those friends from his high school again?
Ashley: Of course he did, he’s such a social glue...

social glue

A term to describe a person, mostly an extravert, who bonds together a group of people. This person is friends with everyone in the group individually, and without them the group falls apart.
Maybe the group has another thing in common (e.g. a hobby), but if it wasn't for this person they wouldn't be friends. The social glue of a group proposes activities to do, is the king/queen of the group chat, and everything the group does is awkward until the social glue arrives.
Cindy is such a social glue, if it weren't for her these friends would have never met up.

I'm shy, but thankfully my social glue friend has introduced me to some new people.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
