A kiss between two people who are not in a romantic relationship and do not have romantic feelings for each other. Used mostly for kisses between friends, but it can also be used for family kisses.
A: "Did you kiss Mary yesterday?"
B: "Yeah, but there's nothing going on there. It was just a platonic kiss."

A platonic kiss is a kiss between two people when one or more of the engaged parties is in a relationship and is trying to remain guilt-free whilst kissing other girls/guys.
