Short for 'Ontological Operation' , etymologically similar to 'PsyOp' this word is used strategically to redefine terrains of meaning so that both observers automatically agree to assumptions delivered by the OntOp. This word differs from PsyOp in meaningful ways because a PsyOp is deployed tactically, to drive a singular conversation while a OntOp reframes categorical definitions of phenomena. To define these further one could define a PsyOp as a concrete action taken to induce a psychological effect in an individual or in a population while an OntOp is the coordinated interpretation of events to alter or constrict the consensus of reality.
