Some mushrooms are used for dyeing fabrics. 'Mycopigments is a term used to describe the colorful dyes found within the flesh of certain fungi and lichens. It’s also the name of an education based business.
Phaeolus schweinitzii or "Dyers Polypore" mushroom makes a beautiful yellow mycopigment on wool.
