A dangerous mindset that a lot of amateur business owners get hooked into - that operates almost like a religion where they focus ALL their efforts (and risk their livelihood) on a single platform. Usually represented by a belief that a paid or organic marketing platform will save their lives and businesses.
Monoplatformism is the belief of many small business owners have that you only need one marketing channel in order to succeed in life, therefore going "all in" on one BUT risking everything in the process.

When a man will search for hours to find something that is laying out in the open on a table. Items are often easily found by a women.
Man: "I have been searching for hours for keys."
Woman: "You mean the ones sitting there on the coffee table?"
