"Mon" is "come on" in Scottish. "The Biff" is what fans call the Scottish rock band "Biffy Clyro". Mon the biff therefor means something like "Come on Biffy Clyro". Fans scream this at concerts just before the show and in between songs.

Is another name for Cal U. Mon refers to the Monongahela River that is right next to the University. There’s not much to do at Harvard on the Mon but you can always count on the train going by when you’re in a rush and on your way in or out of the River Lot.
