mewlions

Mewlions/Mewlion is the fandom name of the Thai actor/singer/artist Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat. It is a portmanteau of his nickname "Mew" and the word million.

"As for the hashtag #mewlions, the reason why I added the alphabet 's' is because in the event that I have more than one million followers, like two million or in case it keeps increasing...Another reason why I chose to use #mewlions is that I like the sentence 'You are one in a million'. There are millions of people in the world, but in the end, we met. So, 'You are one in a #mewlions'. This sentence means you are my special one. It does not matter where you have been, but we finally met in the end." -Mew Suppasit, July 2020

When are you considered a mewlion(s) according to Mew?
"If you support me / you are my fan then you are a mewlion(s)." -Mew Suppasit, February 2021

Mewlions

Cult created by accident. An informal organisational structure with a few self proclaimed leaders are persuading and encouraging others to follow them. Generally, they attract more vulnerable members whom have become disillusioned with society. Encouraging members to reject the mainstream values, harass people with opinions that differ from their own "truth". In terms of demands, the cult requires a deep commitment from their members and expect them to worship their object of admiration and do believe they possess the monopoly of religious truth.

FRACTIONS:
Wanjaai - Partially Mewlions, cult with a Stockholm syndrome despised by others

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
