This is because they fit the female gaze of an attractive man usually.

Typical features of a lesbian boy are long wavy hair, painted nails, comfortable thrifted clothing, and a build ranging from slim to a dadbod (nothing too lean and shredded) visually look male (with some feminine features) and if they play sports it will probably be hockey or lacrosse.
