Generic phrase meant to convey imminent and total failure of any undertaking or action.

Originally refers to a motor vehicle "rolling" upon taking a corner too fast or driving off the road.

Used by higher-ups in a company to sound like a threat to a persons employment. Anyone who actually uses this phrase is insecure with their amount of power and actually incapable of firing anyone.
