Genny Lecs 

British slang for a General Election. Similar to cozzie livs, which is slang for the cost of living crisis. Once a General Election is called, every seat in the House of Commons becomes vacant and MP’s must campaign to be re-elected.

Harry: Awlrite bruv, u got valid ID for the Genny Lecs?

Tony: yeah bruv, I’m going to vote Conservative.

Harry: why are you voting conservative bruv? You’re literally on Universal Credit! 😭

Tony: fair dos Hazza, I’ll vote Labour!
