A Rookie-level Digimon that looks like a canine, but is actually a yellow reptile wearing a wolf's pelt. It aspires to become a stronger wolf-like Digimon called Garurumon and the pelt on its back gives it determination and courage. According to theDigimon lore, Gabumon is associated with friendship, but that doesn't mean that each and every Gabumon met on the way will be friendly. Gabumon has a strange aurora-like marking on it's belly which is a mystery to both humans and digimon.
