the build-up of snow on the binding mechanism of a downhill snow ski and/or the underside of a ski boot that is sufficient to impede the insertion of the boot into the binding

Etymology
First used by Fiona and Amandine inspired by the motivation to successful complete a round of Bananagrams. 26th July 2022 at Double B Ski Lodge, Mt Buller. Potentially derived from the mischievous gnome “Fogen” and “bing” – dialectal, British - noun: a heap or pile for storage
I have bad fogenbingers after walking through the snow to where I left my skis.
