Flip and Dip

When you flip the chip over to dip with the other side. AKA just double dipping but slightly less gross.
Mary: Ew Heidi, did you just double dip?
Heidi: No! It was the flip and dip. It's totally different.
Mary: But your saliva is still on the chip so the flip really doesn't make much difference.

flip and dip or trip

The act of being down with the flip and dip. Anyone who isn’t down with the flip and dip is tripping. Ignore the haterz and stop tripping.

Will: Of course not! That’s gross!
Hana: It’s flip and dip or trip!

the flip and dip

An action. To flip the chip over to the other side to dip after you've already dipped one side. Basically just another term for double dipping.
Mary: Ew, Heidi. Did you just double dip???
Heidi: No I did the flip and dip. It's totally different.
Mary: Nah. I mean it's basically the same thing. Your saliva is still on that chip!

Dip skip and flip

Originally found in Snoop Dogg’s song “Gz and Hustlas”, the term became popular in the Akron, Ohio in the mid to late 90’s.

The term was and still is used as an exit phrase in the greater Akron region when leaving a group or function.

One throws in a dip (chewing tobacco), skips to their car, and flips off (gestures with their middle finger) said group they just left.
“Yo you wanna go with us to the skate park and rip some darts?”

“Nah bro I’m about to dip skip and flip
The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
