Noun. A contraction of "flat earth idiot". A person who has adopted the idiocy of "flat earthism", a delusional belief or claim that the Earth is flat, or at least pretends to have done so.

The Earth's not flat, it's a globe, and you must be a flerfiot to claim otherwise.
