The final choice in any choose-your-own-adventure narrative which decides the ending of the story, disregarding all of the choices which it has had the user make prior to it.
Even though I treated everyone nicely: the endingtron 3000 gave me a bad ending for not sparing the villain at the end.

Popularized by Ben Croshaw. Refers to an ultimate, overly simplistic/binary choice at the end of a narrative game which determines the actual ending; holds the implication the player's many supposed choices during the game were actually superfluous by comparison. See also ludonarrative dissonance.
