ease the flow

1. A phrase directed at someone that tends to be overly emotional and finds the need to cry, complain, whine, nag, etc.

2. A phrase directed to someone in reference to always (or frequently) acting as if they are "on the rag".

3. A phrase used as an equivalent to "lighten up" or "take it easy".
Cause: "... I am having such a horrible day! Everything that could possibly go wrong seems to be going wrong! Nothing will ever get any better!"

Reaction: "whoa, whoa, whoa Sally!!! Hike up that skirt and EASE THE FLOW!"
