doing the ben

The act of deleting one's messages before anyone else is able to reply to them or even read them. If one actually manages to reply in time, they should be awarded an Olympic medal. Even if one messages has been replied to, it is still not safe from being deleted anyway.

Person: "Ugh, he deleted his message again - just when I was about to reply. Now I can't send it anymore."
Other Person: "So he's doing the ben again..."

doing the bend

A body stance that involves a person standing with his or her feet together while leaning the body to one side. Usually done while drunk and with a beverage in one hand. The stance displays confidence and is extremely attractive.

"Dude, what are you doing?"

"I'm doing the bend."

"Why?"

"It's all in the bend, you see."
