A mix of the French word for dog turd (crotte) and the word for pavement (trottoir).

Eve: Y a-t-il une fontaine près d'ici ? Je pense que j'ai marché dans quelque chose dégoûtant sur le crottoir et je dois nettoyer ma chaussure.
