A zombie-demon first appears in Doom 2: Hell on Earth.
They are stocky demons dressed in red with a huge chain gun on their left arm. If you don't act fast in front of a group of them, they'll turn you into a Gruyère before you can even switch weapons.

The chaingunner have a very unfair hitscan an fire rate, but is less than yours.
