Casual Dating

"A casual date is an evening, a meal, or a get-together of some kind in which there is no expectation of further commitment on either side. Although one side may desire a further relationship, it is understood that both parties are free to sample the company of each other and are as equally free to terminate any sense of relationship as well."

Casual Dating

Casual dating is dating one or more persons, romantically and sexually, with the intention of possibly dating this person/s exclusively and/or getting into a relationship with said person/s.

Casual dating is the stage just before dating someone, exclusively.

Also, dating someone exclusively is the stage before getting into a relationship with someone; i.e. boyfriend and girlfriend relationship.

Conversation on casual dating example

Jenna; 'Omgoodness, I just met this really cute guy and he asked me to go and grab some drinks together, sometime'

Sarah; 'Ohs wows, okay! what's his name? And? how has it been going with Tommy?

Jenna; 'His name is Leonardo! And it's been going really good at the moment. We will see how things go! We will see each other next week.'

Sarah; 'Awesomes, well let's see which of the two will be the lucky guy!'

Jenna; 'So glad casual dating allows us to date more than one person at a time. I mean, you just don't know if you're even going to end up marrying some people in the end, isn't it? Got to give it a go to know!'

Sarah; 'True, true! and take your time with it too, don't rush into things with someone, might ruin it!'

Casual Dating

When you've deleted your dating apps and you're excited to see where this thing goes. Even though, let's be honest, all you were gonna find on HER is a prison mama. And you're definitely not sleeping around even though the term you used to describe the situation to the girl you're interested in was accidentally horrifying.
Roommate: I told you not to say "casual dating" dude
Steph: I know, I'm a dumbass

Casual Friend Dating

You're going through the motions of dating but you're not, and it's kind of a tease, but you're okay with it. It's not friends with benefits though.
Random Stranger: "So are you guys dating yet?"
Friends 1 & 2: "No, we're not."
Friend 3: "Casual Friend Dating."

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."
