Guys who fiercely defend each other, even after proven wrong. They do this with such intensity, that it would seem they have feelings for each other.
You could tell that Damian really is David's brokeback biatch. Even though neither one of them has any real proof to the contrary, he still defended David's theory that Jordan would've left the Bulls like Lebron left the Cavs. Even after Jordan publicly said he would've never done what Lebron did.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
