To perform an act or exhibit a behaviour which is generally considered unwise, or which flies in the face of adversity, and to do so with such conviction and intensity that anyone witnessing it will be left in awe. And possibly (probably) a little turned on.
He knew he'd hate every moment of it, but faced with the challenge of eating that pineapple, he knew how brave&sexy he'd look if he made it happen. And so he did, screaming internally throughout, to the amazement of all those in his presence.
