bar golf

get together with a bunch of friends and dress in your best golfing attire. prepare a list of 9 bars where each person will consume one designated drink for each of the 9 bars (preferably within walking distance of one another or get a designated driver). pass out score cards. scoring goes as follows: one stroke would be one drink, two strokes would be taking two tries to finish the drink, etc. a stroke isn't a gulp... just finish the drink right away when you start it. one can manipulate these rules. keep track of your score. after 9 bars, the one with the lowest score wins. can get interesting if the drink is really strong.

bar golf

A fun, challenging, often vomit-inducing college sport. The rules are simple. Players travel to 18 bars (the front and back 9 may be played on separate nights), and an hour (or half-hour if you want to make it intense) is allotted for each bar. Teams of 1 lady and 1 gentlemen are set up and score cards are distributed. Par is set ahead of time for each bar and you must drink to reduce strokes. Different drinks can be valued differently (i.e., a beer= -1 stroke, singles= -2, doubles= -3, long islands= -4, etc). Puking yields a +5 penalty. Golf attire is mandatory.
Bar One (Par 5): Joe drinks a long island iced tea (-4) and Sally drinks a double sprite and vodka (-3). Total: -7 + 5 = -2.
...
Bar Nine (Par 4): Joe and Sally decide bar golf is the most brutal game they've ever played.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
