„ausgebobt“ beschreibt den Zustand nachdem eine Person eine durch die Überlegenheit eines Gegners entstandene, eindeutige und meist vernichtende Niederlage erleidet. Der Begriff entstand im Rahmen des Youtube-Videos „Markus & Matze kommentieren ihre größten Erfolge“ des Youtube-Kanals „MarkusRuehl“.
In diesem kommentierte der gleichnamige Bodybuilder Markus Rühl seinen Auftritt bei dem Bodybuilding-Wettbewerb „Night of Champions“ des Jahres 2002, bei dem er sich gegen den favorisierten Bob Cicherillo durchsetzte. Die Bezeichnung „ausgebobt“ entlehnte Rühl dabei dem Vornamen seines damaligen Rivalen.

„So, dann hat de Bob mich gesehen, da hat's ausgebobt.“

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.

Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
