If you haven't experienced it, it's literally "fear of humans", from Greek: άνθρωπος, ánthropos, "human" and φόβος, phóbos, "fear". Anthrophobia is also known as social anxiety or anthropophobia.It is pathological fear of people or human company.

Person A : You know, you write really well. Why don't you speak out in public?Are you an agoraphobiac?
