The ford escort. the model zx2 made in the years 1998 through 2003. limited production models made in the years 1999 and 2000 stamped with an S/R emblem were give tuner upgrades. consisting of more egressive tuning, iceman intake, eibach springs, tokico struts, rear disc brakes, and borla exhaust. in 2003, the zx2 was given a face lift with a new front facia. this ending the zx2 with the takeover of the focus.
